Hoover Dam
This memorable and exciting Grand Canyon National Park sightseeing tour from Las Vegas will take you to and across the unbelievable and massive Hoover Dam, one of the seven technical wonders of the world. Panoramic and colorful views of the surrounding Black Canyon and Lake Mead will leave you in awe. This tour stops at the magnificent Hoover Dam for a photo opportunity.
Old West Train
Our next fascinating stop is an Old West Train on Route 66 in Kingman, AZ. For decades, other than wagon trains or horseback, this was the only means of crossing the continental United States.
Mather Point
on the South Rim is the first view many visitors have of the Grand Canyon. Cliffs plunge a vertical mile below and a ribbon of water courses its way west on the canyon floor, while a pervading sense of dimension staggers the imagination.
Yavapai Point
offers some splendid views of the inner canyon, Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch There is also a small museum here which features exhibits on geology and presents the most popular theories or how the Canyon was formed. The Grand Canyon Association also has a bookstore at this location.
Bright Angel
Stroll along the canyon rim between Mather Point and Bright Angel Lodge and the famous old El Tovar Hotel in the historic, Grand Canyon Village District.
Hopi House
Browse through the Indian handicraft and souvenir shop in Grand Canyon Village. Hopi House is world renowned for it's quality and selection of Native American Art. |
