Purple Reign-The Ultimate Prince Tribute Show pays tribute to the artist Prince and his performance in the movie “Purple Rain.” The group performs all of Prince’s greatest hits including “When Doves Cry,” “1999” and “Kiss.”

Purple Reign has been recognized worldwide as the premiere Prince Tribute show. In 2008 they were the first ever Prince Tribute act to be featured as a special guest on “The Late Show with David Letterman.” In 2009, Purple Reign was voted Best Tribute Act by the 28th annual Las Vegas Review Journal Poll, winning 2 awards by both the staff and readers.

Lead performer Jason Tenner created the Las Vegas-based group in 1997. What started as a popular bar act at Tom & Jerry’s, a UNLV college club moved on to performing in bigger and better venues both on and off the Las Vegas Strip. The group has also added two new characters, Morris Day and Jerome Benton of “The Time” to the show.
